Zachary W. Wilson

Zachary Warren Wilson of Virginia Beach, Virginia, passed away on September 10, 2025. 

Zach was born on September 11, 1995 in Pensacola, Florida. At the age of 1, the family moved to Virginia where he spent the majority of his life. Zach's life was marked by his adventurous spirit, warm heart, and unique sense of style.

Zach spent most summers at Compass Lake with his grandparents where he enjoyed spending time on the water at the lake and fishing/diving in the Gulf. 

Zach got SCUBA certified at the age of 14 with his step-dad Jonah and would go diving in the Gulf with his grandfather Ronnie "Pops" as often as he could. He turned his passion for diving into a career as a commercial diver at the age of 18. A skilled professional, he dedicated his work to conducting bridge inspections, servicing oil rigs, and performing underwater welding.

Zach also loved the Florida Gators and the Green Bay Packers. 

Zach is survived by his parents Brenda (Jonah) Dickey, David Wilson (Brandi Hope); his brother, Ryan Wilson and sister, Jordan (PJ) Harn; grandparents, Ronnie and Hazel Glaze, Don and Cindy Dickey; great grandmother, Neta Owens; along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who will all miss him dearly. 

Zach was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Bert and Delores Wilson. 

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Saturday September 13, 2025 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home. 

Arrangements are entrusted to the Lambe family at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
