William Stewart Obituary

William Alex Stewart, age 79, of Sneads, FL, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

William was a welder by trade for most of his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, socializing, and most of all, he loved spending time on the back porch with his family. William never met a stranger. He always enjoyed taking time to hear about others and help them anyway possible.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Stewart and Carrie Stewart; son, Jack Meadows; and brother, Rayvon Stewart.

William is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Willena Stewart of Sneads, FL; son, Joey Meadows and wife, Nancy of Marianna, FL; daughters, Christina Wingfield and husband, Delmos of Grand Ridge, FL; and Donna Dunaway of Bascom, FL; as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A private service will be at a later date with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
