William “Billy” Davis

William Everett “Billy” Davis, age 84, of Marianna, FL passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021 at Signature Health Care at the Courtyard surrounded by his loving family. 

William was a devout Pentecostal and attended Sneads Pentecostal Holiness Church before his health declined and moved to the Courtyard. William was a carpenter by trade and worked in multiple jobs in various states. William enjoyed going to church, fishing, and spending time with family. He also loved to eat home cooked meals, including fried catfish. He loved and cherished his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ima Jean Davis; parents, Edward and Elizabeth Davis; brother, John D. Davis; ex-wife, Ollie Mae Davis; sister, Vivian Brahier; brother, Clarence Foster; and sister in-law, Mae Davis.

William is survived by daughter, Deborah Dunagan and husband, Gary of Grand Ridge, FL; sister, Rachel Stanley and husband, Jack of Panama City, FL; brother, Amos Davis of Peoria, IL; sister in-law, Linda Jones and husband, John, of Eufala, AL; granddaughter, Brandy M. Dunagan of Grand Ridge, FL; brother in-law, Ron Lewis and wife, Valerie of Tallahassee FL, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. 

A funeral service for William will be 2 P.M. Friday, October 29, 2021 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Wright officiating. Interment will follow at Pope Cemetery with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
