William Edward Amason

Mr. William E. “Billy” Amason, age 66, of Marianna, Florida, formerly of Boaz, AL, died on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at Southeast Health in Dothan.

Mr. Amason is survived by his mother, Sarah Roberson of Jacksonville, AL; sister, Cynthia Louise Amason of Florida; aunt, Martha S. Deason of Jacksonville, AL; cousins, Teresa L. and Tim Buse, Lisia Carrizales, Pat and Raj Singh; special family members, Aaron Buse, Dylan Hollingsworth, Kagan Hollingsworth, Blake Miller and Amy Singh.

Funeral services will be 2p.m. Saturday, October 21, 2023, at McRae Chapel in Boaz, AL with Eulogy given by Martha S. Deason. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at McRae Chapel.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Buse, Tim Buse, Dylan Hollingsworth, Rusty Boyd, Kagan Hollingsworth, Raj Singh and Blake Miller.
