Will C. Smith, III

Will C. Smith, III age 84, of Panama City Beach, FL, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Community Health and Rehabilitation Center. 

Will was born on February 25, 1939 to the late Will C. Smith, II and Laura Bell. Will attended High School in Thomaston, GA. After graduating, he worked with the telephone company for a brief time. Will enlisted in the United States Navy where he served for 20 years and retired as a Senior Chief Petty Officer. Following his time in the service, Will worked for Boeing for 10 years where his love for flying and our country was continued. He enjoyed his free time boating and spending time with his family. 

Will was preceded in death by his wife, Mary F. Smith; and his son, Will C. Smith IV. 

He is survived by his son, Kenneth "Ken"  Smith and wife, Becky of Fountain, FL; and his brother, Jack Smith and wife, Doris of Thomaston, GA. 

No services are planned at this time. Memorialization will be by cremation with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
