Wendell Benjamin Hosey, age 52, of Chattahoochee, FL, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare.

Wendell was born January 8, 1970 to Glenda and Jimmy Hosey in Quincy, FL. He was an avid fisherman who also loved woodworking, motorcycles, and spending time with his beloved grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Hosey and granddaughter, Allison Rayne Swindell.

Wendell is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Hosey of Chattahoochee, FL; mother, Glenda Green of Sneads, FL; son, Dakota Hosey and fiancé, Casey Hall of Grand Ridge, FL; daughters, Jessica Blake and fiancé, Jamie Beauchamp of Altha, FL, Harley Swindell and husband, Dwayne of Sneads, FL; brothers, Timmy Hosey and wife, Sandy of Midway, FL, Jason Hosey and wife, Betsy of Tallahassee, FL; sister, Sandra Clayton of Sneads, FL; as well as grandchildren, Benjamin Pelt, AJ Conrad, Chipper Conrad, River Swindell, CullenBeauchamp, and Dakota Hosey II.

A celebration of life service will be private with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
