Walter Earl Kirkland

Walter Earl Kirkland age 82 of Marianna passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 in Jackson Hospital. He was born in Lakewood, Florida to the late Walter Holmes Kirkland and Addie Elizabeth (Marsh) Kirkland. Walter served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He has been a resident of Marianna since 1995 moving here from Sneads. Walter enjoyed fishing and watching Seminole football games.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Walter is survived by his son Walter Earl Kirkland, Jr., daughters Wanda Darlene Crawford, and Belinda Sue Howell, brother Kenneth Kirkland, sisters Bernice Hall, and Jennie Hilton, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

Graveside services for Walter will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Dykes Cemetery with Rev. Juno Douglas, and Rev. Bill Mayo officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 6, 2019 in the Marianna Chapel Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
