Virginia Jean Tremblay

Virginia Jean Tremblay, age 95, of Niceville, FL passed away peacefully on Friday, October 25, 2024 at her residence. 

Jean was born on April 25, 1929 in Calhoun County, FL to the late Ada and Thomas Jackson.  Jean lived life to the fullest and enjoyed spending time with her husband and family, especially when traveling to many new places over the years.  She loved to collect Santa Clauses, birds, angels and Teddy Bears and in her free time, would also crochet and needlepoint.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph “Andy” Tremblay; brothers, Wallace Jackson, Andrew Thomas Jackson and sisters,  LaVelle Fox and Lela Mae Bowman.

Jean is survived by her son, Jon Eric Tremblay and wife, Valerie of Niceville, FL; two brothers, Kenneth Jackson and wife, Dorothy, and Tommy Jackson; sisters, Lucille Locke, Sandra Rowe and Donna Tyus all of Cottondale, FL.  Survivors also include several nieces, nephews and very special family friends including, Katherine Lofton of Jackson, MS and Earl Albritton of Cottondale, FL.

A graveside funeral service will be 11 A.M., Friday, November 1, 2024 at Pilgrims Rest Church Cemetery with Pastor Jeffery Ryan officiating. Services will be conducted by Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
