Virginia Ann Christenson, departed from this life to eternal on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at the age of 80.
Virginia was born in Dothan, AL on August 18, 1944 to the late, James Carl Daniel and Texie Smith Daniel.
Virginia was a devout member of the First Baptist Church in Marianna since 2005 and carried her patience and love for the Lord into her career, where she worked with Intellectually Disabled Adults, shared her medical skills as a phlebotomist, and tended to the needs of many as an EMT paramedic.
Even after retirement, Virginia's nurturing spirit never faded, as she continued to spread joy and comfort working as a babysitter. In her free time, she would express her creativity through crocheting and crafts. She also had a large heart for her many cats and dog.
Her journey through life was marked by her profound love for her family. She has joined in heaven her two husbands, William E. Taylor and Jack Christenson; her cherished son, William Douglas Taylor; her brother, Carl Dean Daniel; and her sister, Rebecca Woodacre.
Her memory will be treasured and kept alive by her daughter, Carla Taylor; her step-daughter, Carol Herbert, and husband, Dennis; her step-son, Jack Christenson and wife, Katie; her step grandchildren, Derek Herbert and wife, Christina; her nieces and nephews, Brent Lee Daniel and wife, Michelle, Elizabeth Frisbie and husband, Ken, Craig Langerud and wife, Christina, Rhonda Lynn Williams and husband, Greg; her cousins, Summer Bailey, Rick Green and Randy Green; along with a host of other cousins and relatives.
A memorial service will be 2 P.M. Thursday, February 27, 2025 at the First Baptist Church of Marianna with Pastor Vince Smith officiating and Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 1:30 P.M. until the time of service at the church.
