Todd Franklin Bailey

Todd Franklin Bailey, of Pensacola, FL, formerly of Alford, FL, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. Todd was born on June 8, 1969, in Calhoun, Georgia.

Todd was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Bonnie Bailey. He is survived by his siblings, Jeff Bailey of De Leon, TX, Robin Adams and husband, Alex of Cottondale, Julia Perry of Grand Ridge, and Carrie Bailey of Marianna; nieces and nephews, Christa Franklin, Damien Strickland and wife, Nasha, Adrian Adams, Billy Bailey and wife, Deanna, Chris Saye, Cody Saye, Amber Casey and husband, Scott, Brandon Franklin, Cheyanne Franklin, and Tiffany Franklin; great nephew, Zack Franklin and a host of other great nieces and nephews.

Todd's academic journey began in Cottondale, where he graduated as valedictorian from Cottondale High School in 1987. His passion for language and culture led him to Florida State University, where he earned a master's degree in Spanish. Todd's love for the Spanish language was not just academic; it also fueled his desire to connect with people from different cultures and backgrounds. Todd dedicated 10 years of his life to ministry work. As a missionary, Todd traveled all over the world, touching lives with his message of faith and love. His work in ministry was not just a job for Todd; it was a calling that allowed him to make a meaningful impact on countless lives.

Perhaps the most defining aspect of Todd's personality was his huge, giving heart. He was always ready to lend an ear, offer a word of encouragement, or share a hearty laugh. His ability to connect with others, to make them feel seen and heard, was a testament to his deep empathy and understanding.
