Timothy W. Jones

Timothy “Bones” Walter Jones, age 61, of Marianna, FL, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022 at his residence.

Tim was born on September 25, 1960 and was the son of Walter and Stella Jones. He was a 1978 graduate of Marianna High School and attended Chipola College. Tim was a lifelong resident of Jackson County, FL and was a professional painter. He was known throughout the area for his quality work and work ethic. Tim dearly loved his family, making pound cakes, fishing, and his dog named “B”.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Luverne Tidwell.

Tim is survived by his daughter, Erica Holden and husband, Bernard of Milton, FL; son, Anthony Jones and wife, Jonna of Minot, ND; grandchildren, Andre, Jamaris, Kilian, Carmen, Juniper, and Ophelia; brother, Wayne Austin; sister, Judy Tipton and husband, Roy of Marianna; companion, Melissa Carnley of Cottondale; mother of his children, Theresa Hallman of Dothan, AL; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 4 p.m. until the time of service at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
