Sheri Lynn Decker

Sheri Lynn Decker, age 64, went to be with the Lord on November 02, 2024 with her loving husband by her side.

Sheri lived a life full of love, compassion and serving others. She was born January 23, 1960 in Ventura County, California and was a graduate of Ojai High School. Soon after, Sheri met her soon to be husband, Terry Lynn Swearingen and were married for 33 wonderful years.

Sheri and her husband, Terry moved to Marianna, FL before settling in Alford. She began a career as a nurse, working for Jackson Hospital for many years. She was also a waitress at Po Folks and enjoyed serving and visiting with her regular customers. Sheri will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Noel Benjamin Girard and Carolyn Mcnulty Girard; her son, Brandon Decker; and brother, Noel Gerard.

Sheri leaves behind her husband, Terry Lynn Swearingen; two sons, Austin Decker and Mark Swearingen; and brother, Steve Girard.

Memorialization will be by cremation with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
