Sharon Denise Nelson

Sharon "Denise" Nelson, age 57, of Alford, FL, went home to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at her home. Denise was born July 15, 1965 in Hammond, Indiana.

Denise was the daughter of the late Thomas Allen Gardner Sr. and Sharon Ann Augusta Gardner. She was a devout Christian and was of the Pentecostal Faith. Her husband, Terrell Nelson, has been the Pastor at Fountain Pentecostal Ministries where she has been a faithful pastors wife for 23 years. She took pride in touching many lives throughout the years, especially through Youth Ministries. Denise was a creative genious and loved art and interior design. She was beloved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew her. She is finally home.

Denise was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves behind her loving husband, Terrell Nelson of Alford; son, Charlie Nelson and wife, Christina; two daughters, Ashley Nelson and Rachel Williams and husband, Joshua all of Alford; two brothers, Tommy Allen Gardner, Jr. of Wilsonville, AL, and Elvis Preston Gardner of Birmingham, AL; two sisters, Pam Smith of Birmingham, AL and Yvonne Reitz of Texas; 17 grandchildren that called her "Eaya" and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Reverend Eddy Hansen officiating. Interment will follow in Carpenter Cemetery in Grand Ridge, FL with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation, beginning at 9:30 A.M. at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
