Ronald "Ronnie" Eddie Evans

Ronald “Ronnie” Eddie Evans, age 78, of Marianna, FL passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at Jackson Hospital.

Ronnie was the son of Mary and Alva Evans and was born on November 11, 1946 in Two Egg, FL. He attended Greenwood High School and soon after enlisted in the United States Army where he served his country for four years. After his service, Ronnie moved to Lake Talquin where he loved to fish. Ronnie was a fantastic mechanic and worked for Holland’s Garage for numerous years. Ronnie was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, cooking, and spending time with his family whom he loved dearly. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Alva D. Evans and mother, Mary J. Evans.

Ronnie is survived by his son, Jerett Evans of Lillian, AL; daughters, Michelle Evans of Ellijay, GA, and Ashleigh Evans of Tallahassee, FL; brother, “Wild Bill” Evans of Malone, FL; sister, Patsy Holland and husband, Jamie of Marianna, FL as well as his grandchildren, Brandon Evans, Blaze Ellsworth, Avery Evans, Lilly Evans, Chayton Evans, Paisley Evans, Maston Evans, and one great grandson, Easton Evans. 

A memorial service will be 11 A.M., Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Jerett Evans and Michelle Evans officiating. 

The family will receive friends from 10 A.M., until the time of service at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
