Ronald E. Cook

Ronald Eugene Cook, age 76, of Marianna, FL, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Sunland. 

Ronald was a lifelong resident of Marianna, FL. He was born on December 15, 1946 to the late Rhue Elmo Cook and Jewel Conrad Cook. Ronald had a love for all of the beautiful things his life had to offer. He enjoyed gardening and looking after his chickens. 

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Rhue Elmo Cook and Jewel Conrad Cook and his brother, Charles Cook and wife, Debbie. 

He is survived by his first cousin and caregiver, Betty Hatcher of Marianna, FL; first cousin, Larry Ford and wife, Ann of Greenwood, FL; his niece, Amanda Cook McAlpin and husband, Jay of Marianna, FL; and second cousins, Melody Hatcher and Dave Hatcher, both of Marianna, FL. 

A memorial service will be held for Ronald at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, January 6, 2023 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Chaplain James Dawsey officiating. 

The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service.
