Ricky J. Hill

Ricky J. Hill, age 67, of Marianna, FL passed away on July 22, 2025 in Tallahassee, FL. 

Ricky was born on June 22, 1958 in Marianna, FL. He was the loving child of Billy Joe Hill and Katie Nell Hill. From an early age, Ricky was a jokester and always lived life to the fullest. Ricky was an avid welder and worked with Economy Air Conditioning for over 40 years and also worked shut downs at Tyndall Air Force Base for numerous years. Ricky was a member of the Psych Ward bikers’ group where he conducted multiple fund raisers for many organizations such as Toys for Tots, St. Jude Children’s research and many more.

He was preceded in death by his parents and infant baby girl.

Ricky is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Susan Hill of Marianna, FL; daughters, Sonya Hill of Sand Rock, AL, Tonya Channler of Sand Rock, AL, Rebecca Lowry of Austell, GA; grandchildren, Logan Hanson, Felicity Dirks, Lillian Dirks, Savannah Lowry, Charity Bray, Angel Brown, Rhianna Lowry; special cousin, Chuck Hill, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved dearly. 

A memorial service will be 2 P.M., Friday, August 15, 2025 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Minister Hank Daniels officiating. 

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 1 P.M. until the time of service at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
