Obituary
Richard “Rick” Dumhart, age 66, of Marianna, FL passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Noland Hospital in Dothan, AL.
Rick was born on August 2, 1956 to the late Emma Mary and Henry Dumhart. Rick attended Cardnal – Gibben High School and graduated in 1975. After graduation, Rick worked at The Ball Field and was a service technician on refrigeration units. Rick also worked as a welder at Unimac for a number of years. At the age of eleven, Rick met Patricia and were sweethearts growing up, marrying in 1979. Rick was a humble man who loved spending time with his family, reading Stephen King books and woodworking.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, James Dumhart and one sister, Jacqueline Dumhart.
He is survived by the love of his life, Patricia “Pam” Dumhart of Marianna, FL; daughters, Maryellen Varnum and husband, Sean of Dothan, AL, Lisa Burke and husband, Shaun of Marianna, FL; sister, Judy Blanton of Baltimore, MD; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Services will be private. Marianna Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
