Randy Davis Obituary

James Randall “Randy” Davis, age 65, of Altha, FL passed away Friday, May 14, 2021 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Randy was a native of Panama City, FL and moved to Nashville, TN for several years. Randy returned to Altha, FL in 2015 where he loved watching old movies, working in the yard, and spending time with friends and family. Randy also enjoyed his long-time career as being a brick mason.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Davis; parents, Herman Clifford Davis and Imogene Melvin Vickery; maternal grandparents, Wallace and Eva Melvin; brother, Herman Richard "Ricky" Davis; and grandson, James Jasper “Bubba” Miller.

Randy is survived by three step-children, Lisa Miller and husband, James “Buddy” Miller of Fountain, FL, Lolita Melvin and husband, John of Alford, FL, Jasper “JC” Shoemaker of Altha, FL; brother, Wallace “Mike” Davis of Compass Lake, FL; sister, Patty Noreika and husband, Steve of Bartow, FL; grandchildren, Jonathan Melvin, Francille Russell, Chris Melvin, and Jasper “Cole” Shoemaker; as well as ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

No services are planned at this time. Memorialization will be by cremation with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
