Ramona Lynette Kilpatrick

Ramona Lynette Kilpatrick, age 86, of Alford, FL, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at her residence with her loving family by her side. 

Ramona was born on May 2, 1938 in Philadelphia, Mississippi to the late Gladys and Homer Wilkerson. Ramona moved to Homestead, FL in 1970 where she had lived for many years. After, Ramona moved to Jackson County in 2006 and became a member of Alford Baptist Church. Ramona was an avid collector of antiques and glassware. She was an accomplished baker of cookies and treats and was also a clogger, loved to dance, and she had an Amateur Radio License (Ham radio).

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, B.C. “Carol” Kilpatrick; infant sister, Melba Wilkerson; brothers, Tommy Frank Wilkerson and Phillip Wilkerson.

Ramona is survived by her son, Scott Kilpatrick and wife, Barbara of Marianna, FL; as well as her beloved grandchildren, Michelle Kilpatrick and Garrett Kilpatrick both of Tallahassee, FL. 

Graveside funeral services will be 11 A.M., Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Alford City Cemetery with Reverends Ryan Helms and Bob Johnson officiating, Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing.
