Phillip Kight Obituary

Phillip Kight, age 91, of Alford, FL, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Jackson Hospital.

Phillip was born August 1, 1930 in Richburg, New York to the late Emanuel and Susan Lundy Kight. He later moved to Florida with his family and joined the United States Air Force. Phillip enjoyed watching Nascar, yard work, and most of all he enjoyed sitting on the back porch with his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Kight; parents Emmanuel and Susan Kight; daughter, Nina Thomas Kight; and brother, Bill Kight.

Phillip is survived by sons, Martin Kight, Roy Kight and wife, Jamie both of Las Vegas, NV; daughter, Gina Johnson and husband, Steve of Alford, FL; sister, Patricia Bradley of Tampa, FL; 10 grandchildren, four great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorialization will be by cremation with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
