Opal June Cobb

Opal Virginia June Cobb, age 94, of Cottondale, FL, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 11, 2024. June was the last remaining child of 12 children born to William Irvin Burton and Lillian Willis Burton.

June was born January 16, 1930 in Columbia, Kentucky. She was a devoted witness for the Lord and was a member at the Marianna Seventh-day Adventist Church for over 15 years. June married the love of her life, Willard Clinton Cobb, and together, they loved traveling in their motor home. Some of Junes favorite past times were serving others by volunteer work and having visitors over on the Sabbath for lunch. June was a proud and loving mother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Clinton Cobb; her son, William Good as well as one brother and ten sisters.

June is survived by three sons, Rick Ursell of Las Vegas, NV, Joe Bruson of Jacksonville, FL and John Rebman of St. Augustine, FL; daughter, Penelope Ray of Cottondale; along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 19, 2024 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.

Graveside funeral services will follow at 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 19, 2024 at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with Pastor Mike Burks officiating and Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing.
