Morgan R. Hicks

Mr. Morgan Ray Hicks, age 70, of Graceville, FL, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Southeast Health Medical Center.

Morgan was born in Hartford, AL, and was a Proud United States Army Veteran. He moved to Michigan at a young age and attended St. Clair High School. Morgan moved to Jackson County, FL in 2002 and was highly skilled in the Construction Industry. He loved his grandkids more than life itself and spent as much time with them as he could. Morgan never met a stranger and was very sociable and liked. He will be greatly missed.

He was predeceased by his parents, Ray Hicks and Faye Owens Blanchard.

Survivors include his wife, Glenda; step father whom raised him, Gary Blanchard, Sr. and wife, Cathy of Waters, MI; two sons, Jason West of Huntsville, AL and Josh Hicks of Milton, FL; two daughters, Jessica Bailey of Iowa and Stacy Braxton and husband, Michael of Greenwood; brother, Gary Blanchard, Jr. and wife, Chris of Dothan, AL, and Hugh Blanchard and wife, Vickie of Wicksburg, AL; sisters, Beverly Mcnutt and husband, Jon Strauchman  of Port Huron, MI, and Melanie Riley of Cottonwood, AL; 15 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

No services are planned at this time. Memorialization will be by cremation with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
