Milton G. Wynn, Jr., of Dothan, AL, formerly of Marianna, FL, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at SouthEast Health after a courageous battle with congestive heart failure.
Milton was a graduate of Marianna High School in 1978. He went on to pursue higher education at the University of West Florida and received a Bachelors in recreation. He was also a proud member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity during his years in college. Milton was an entrepreneur, once owning three businesses in Jackson County. Prior to business ownership, he was Park Ranger at St. Joseph Peninsula State Park and then worked many years in sales at Daffin Food Service in Marianna, FL.
Milton was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Marianna. His lifetime hobbies included playing tennis, hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He also loved watching the Florida Gators play football and spending time at the family beach house in Mexico Beach. Above all else, Milton loved his family dearly. He cherished the time spent with them more than anything else in life.
Milton was preceded in death by his parents, Joanne and Milton Wynn, Sr.
He is survived by his two daughters, Virginia Watford and husband, Jason, Rebecca Gumms and husband, Daryl; Virginia and Rebecca's mother, Gretchen Schulz all of Dothan; two sons Chase and Chance; brothers, Charles Wynn and wife, Bobbi of Marianna, William Wynn and wife, Laura of Taos, NM; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Olivia, Adam and Caroline Watford, and Virginia Ray Gumms; along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
A private graveside funeral service will be at a later date at Riverside Cemetery in Marianna, FL. Marianna Chapel Funeral Home will be directing.
