Max H. Rischar

Max Henry Rischar, age 86, of Marianna, FL, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022 at his residence with his loving family by his side.

Max was born on December 16, 1935 in Quincy, IL to the late Mabel and Henry Rischar. He attended Quincey Senior High and soon after enlisted in the United States Air Force. During his service, he met Carlion at Little Rock Air Force Base and soon after got married. After 21 years of service, he retired at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, as a TSGT. After retirement, Max worked on the Alaskan Pipeline and soon after moved to Jackson County. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. 

He was preceded in death by his brother, Pete Rischar.

Max is survived by his wife, Carlion “Carole” Rischar of Marianna, FL; sons, Timothy Rischar and wife, Theresa of Marianna, FL, Mark Rischar and wife, Melinda of New Brockton, AL; daughter, Kim Rischar and husband, Nathan of Canton, MO; brothers, Stephen Rischar and Mike Rischar; sister, Susie Kelle of Quincy, IL; grandchildren, Alexis, Samantha, Christi, Joshua, Jessica, Marissa and Katie as well as nine great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation and viewing on Sunday, September 11, 2022 from 1 P.M. to 2 P.M., at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
