Mary Smith Obituary

Mary Caroline Smith, age 73, of Marianna, FL, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Southeast Health in Dothan, AL.

Mary moved to Jackson County in September, 2021 from Jasper, NY, to live with family. She loved to go camping, traveling, stock car racing, the Christmas Holidays, spending time with family, and her dogs.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Smith; son, Matthew Smith; brother, Lee Oles; and parents, Leon and Lora Oles.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Guinnip and husband, Shawn of Cameron, NY; daughter in-law, Harmony Smith of Jasper, NY; Shane Guinnip and wife, Leah of Jasper, NY; Justin Smith and George Wolfe of Williamsport, PN; great grandchild, Jade Lee Gunnip; brothers, Laverne, Lyle, Leon, and Lynn Oles all of New York; sisters, Donna Wright, Wilda Hager, Linda Knight, and Janet Taft all of Jasper, NY; special niece, Jennifer Lipford and husband, Danny of Marianna, FL; as well as several other nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Donna Wright for the amazing care she gave to Mary in her time of need.

Memorization will be by cremation with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
