Mary Evans Obituary

Mary Sandra Evans, a beacon of love and laughter to all who knew her, passed away on the Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 47 years, Lester Evans.

Mary is survived by her son, Brian Evans; her daughter-in-law, Lacie Evans; her grandchildren, Brian Evans II, Bri-Anna Evans, and Alexander Evans. Survivors also include her sisters, Tina and Pat of West Virginia, along with numerous nieces and nephews to which she was lovingly known as "that aunt!".

Per Mary's wishes, no services are planned at this time with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
