Mary Smith Obituary

Mary Smith, age 79, of Panama City Beach, Florida, passed away Monday, December 6, 2021 at Chipola Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Mary was born July 9, 1942 to the late Carl K. McDougald and Mary Glanton in Thomaston, Georgia. Mary loved her family, politics, writing, water aerobics, traveling, and boating. She will be dearly missed by those who love her.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Carl McDougald and Mary Glanton; her son, Will C. Smith, IV; and “Aunt Lot.”

Mary is survived by her husband, Will C. Smith III; and her son, Ken Smith and wife Becky of Fountain, Florida.

No services are planned at this time. Memorialization will be by cremation with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangement.
