Lucille Smate

Lucille Smate, age 82, of Marianna, FL passed from this life on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Jackson Hospital.

Lucille was born November 8, 1940 and was a resident of Jackson County. She attended First Assembly of God Church in Marianna and loved being social with her friends and church family. Lucille enjoyed doing household duties,  going out to eat, and watching tv.

She was preceded in death by her companion, Allen Miller and best friend, Dianne Miller.

Lucille is survived by her special friends and care takers, Carolyn Royster and husband, Jeff, Gwendolyn Baldwin, Brenda Baldwin, Dorothy Glover, Martini Hayes, Sharon Somnitz and husband, Ed, Judy Hawes, and Belinda Mitchell, Christine Smith, and Abigail Green.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 15, 2022 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Gene Morris officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the time of service at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
