Linda Marie Harris

Linda Marie Harris, joined her Lord and Savior on September 18, 2025, in Tallahassee, Florida. Born on July 3, 1958, in Winter Garden, Florida, Linda’s years were marked by love, service, and the simple joy of spending time with her family.

As a lifelong resident of Alford, Linda's commitment to her community was unwavering. Her active participation in the AM Vets, Lady Moose, and Marianna Moose Lodge spoke volumes of her dedication to fellowship and service. Linda’s Christian faith was the cornerstone of her existence, guiding her compassionate actions and her gentle way of life. Linda also had a passion for fishing, growing beautiful flowers, going to the beach with family, and cooking meals to enjoy with family and friends. 

Linda was preceded in death by her loving parents, Ben and Marie Kent; her grandparents, Gussie and Earnest Pettis; her brother, Jerry A. Kent, and her sister, Judy Weinborner. 

Linda’s spirit is carried forward through those she dearly loved, including her cherished son, Benjamin Michael Harris (Kim); one brother, J.R. Kent and wife, Carolyn; her sisters, Neoma Finch and Ann Briggs and her husband, Bob. Her joy was multiplied with the arrival of her precious grandchildren, Bentley, Paisley, Bryce and Olivia, who will forever be inspired by their grandmother's enduring love and wisdom.

Services will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the Lambe Family at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
