Lester L. Cook

Lester Lee Cook, age 82, of Sneads, FL, passed away peacefully at his home with family by his side on Saturday, August 17, 2024.

Les received the Bronze Star during his service in Vietnam and retired with 20 years of service in the Army. His hobbies included fishing and spending time with his family, whom he loved dearly. 

He was preceded in death by his son, Kevin; his parents; and two brothers. 

Les is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Charlotte Cook of Sneads, FL; as well as numerous special nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 4 P.M., Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at Dellwood Baptist Church with Pastor Gary Gable officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the United States Army Honor Guard. Marianna Chapel Funeral Home will be directing.

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 3 P.M. until the time of service at Dellwood Baptist Church.
