Larry Norman Porter

Larry Norman Porter, age 74, of Marianna, FL, passed away at his residence on April 29, 2023 with his loving wife, Dianne, by his side.

Larry was born on April 11, 1949 to the late Ira Porter and Merlene Hall. Larry was a simple man and cherished his family. He was a truck driver and was employed by WBT for 30 years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Dianne Porter; daughters, Hilda Porter (Devlin) of Tallahassee, FL, Tina White of Marianna, FL, Rachel Brown (Charles) of Cleveland, TN; bonus daughter, Terri Busby (Andy) of Marianna, FL; brother, Lewis Hall (Doreen) of Marianna, FL; sister, Ruthie Stepp-Harrison (Tom) of Ocala, FL; grandsons, Drew Williams, J.T. White and Drake Brown. Survivors also includes his great granddaughter, Mila Williams; nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends, Jimmy Boggs, Buddy Branning and Larry Whitehead. 

A graveside funeral service will be 2:30 P.M., Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Hickory Level Cemetery with Judy Williams officiating, Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing. 

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation prior to the service at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home from 1 P.M to 2 P.M. on Wednesday, May 3, 2023.
