Kathy Carolyn Hamm

Kathy Carolyn Hamm, age 64, of Round Lake, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at her residence.

Kathy was a lifelong resident of Jackson County and attended Alford Elementary School and Cottondale High School. She lived life to the fullest and cherished her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. 

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, James and Gladys Fortune. 

She is survived by her son, Cameron Hamm; daughter, Candace Hamm (Danny Shores); sisters, Rene Mathis, Debbie Gay (Alfred), Thelma Barnes (Gary), Glenda Cogburn, Dottie Acosta (Jimmy), and Linda Benefield (Carol); grandchildren, Dalana Shores, Kinsley Hamm and Cash Hamm; along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Funeral services will be 3 P.M. Monday, May 20, 2024 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Charles Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Round Lake Cemetery with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends for viewing and visitation one hour prior to the service at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
