John "Jack" Hockensmith Obituary

John “Jack” Raymond Hockensmith age 77 of Marianna formerly of Kansas, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2020 in Jackson Hospital.

Jack was born on November 11, 1942 in Kansas City, Missouri. He has been a resident of Marianna for the past six years moving here from Olathe, Kansas. Jack enjoyed being in the outdoors, watching TV, and was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife Janice Hockensmith, and his dad Donald Hockensmith

Jack is survived by his partner Missy Wightman of Marianna, son Josh Hockensmith and wife Rene of Missouri, daughter Jodie Hockensmith of Kansas, brother Steve Hockensmith and wife Rochelle of Villages, FL, two grandchildren Aiden and Carley Hockensmith.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date in Olathe, Kansas.
