John Archie Peterson

John Archie Peterson, age 67, of Marianna, FL, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at UAB Hospital.

John was born on June 16, 1956 in Apalachicola, FL to Lawrence Victor Peterson and Fannie Reese Peterson. John has been a resident of Habilitative Services of North Florida Baker House Group Home since June 2007. His housemates were like brothers to him and they shared a special bond. Those special friends were, John Davis, Jeff Thomson, Greg Goodson and Bob Cuenin. The staff at the Baker House were also like family to him. In recent years, John spent his time helping at JCARC in Marianna. He loved fishing, a variety of music and going out on the shrimp boat. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his brother, Lawrence Peterson of Apalachicola.
