John Edwards

John Duane Edwards, age 70, of Cottondale, FL, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023 at his residence.

John was born on May 19 ,1953 to the late Bobbie and Robert Edwards. John worked with the Jackson County Road Department as a road grader operator for many years. He enjoyed fishing on the Apalachicola River, gardening, and operating his tractor. Above all, John enjoyed spending time with his family and wife, Linda, whom he was married to for 23 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Skip Edwards.

John is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Linda Edwards of Cottondale, FL; sons, Derek Foran and wife, Francis of Taylor, AL; Jonathan Foran of Rehobeth, AL; daughters, Brandy Lolliey and husband, Mark of Clarksville, FL; Chrystal Daniels of Newton, MS; sisters, Sally Setian of Altadena, CA and Pam Mathwig of Escondido, CA as well as his grandchildren, Hannah, Dylan, Jeffery and two great grandchildren.

No services are planned at this time. Memorialization will be by cremation with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
