John Vinson Carter

John Vinson Carter, affectionately known as, Vince, passed away on June 8, 2026 at SouthEast Health in Dothan, AL.

He attended Fairfax Christian High School as well as Washington Bible School for 3 years. Vince was a dedicated employee for the United States Postal Service in McClean, Virginia and retired after 38 years. He was a very kind and generous brother and an extremely hard worker. He will be dearly missed.

He was predeceased by his adored and loving wife, Diane Marie Carter.

He is survived by his brother, Clyde C. Carter, Jr. and wife, Deborah Ann Carter; and his sister, Wanda C. Frenzel and her husband, William F. Frenzel.

No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are entrusted to the Lambe Family at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
