James Tyus

James Tyus, age 44, of Callaway, FL passed away on Wednesday April 30, 2025 in South Carolina. 

James was born January 11th, 1981 and graduated high school in 1999.  Shortly after high school, he completed his certification in telecommunications and began work all over the country. He left telecommunications and went into construction. James started as an iron worker but found his calling as a rigger. This was the job he loved the most. He made so many friends all over and will be remembered far and wide. 

He was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Ida Martin; grandmother, Kitty Martin; father, Bill O'Bryan; aunt, Jackie Wright and uncle, Chris Wright.

James is survived by his mother, Kathy O'Bryan; daughters, Emily and Ciera; several siblings, Tiffany, Micheal, Charla, Chris, Jessica, Stephanie and Sean; as well as so many others whose lives he has touched. 

Funeral services will be 2 P.M., Saturday, May 10, 2025 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Wright officiating.

The family will receive friends for viewing and visitation from 1 P.M. until the time of service at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Lambe Family at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
