Iris Louetta (Kent) Sims

Iris Louetta Sims, age 81 of Marianna went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 10, 2019.

She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-three years, James Herschel Sims; her parents, John W. and Alice Lucille Kent.

Mrs. Sims is survived by three sisters, Laura Rosenkrans, Barbara Stephens, and Joan Hanney. She leaves behind four daughters, Susan Rabon (Roland) of Marianna, Fl., Linda Halter (Mike) of Grove City, Ohio, Judy Bennett (Randy) of Bryan, Texas, and Tina Sims-Davis (Richard) of Marianna, FL. She is also survived by six grandchildren, John Rabon, Faith Gilliland, Brandon Turner, Erica Madsen, Andrew Rabon, and Emily Miller; seven great – grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and family.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 in the Marianna Chapel Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service.
