Homer L. Howell Obituary

Homer L. “Lee” Howell, age 79, of Alford, FL, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023 at his home with his loving wife, Rose, by his side.

Lee was a 1962 graduate of Sandy Valley High School. After graduation, Lee enlisted in the United States Army Rangers and served in the Vietnam War from 1965 to 1968. Following his time in the service, Lee worked at the Ford Motor Company and retired after 32 years. Lee had a unique and enjoyable personality and lived life on his own terms. His quirky and offbeat sense of humor endeared him to everyone and stayed with him through his illness. Lee’s interests were wide and diverse.  He was an avid reader and enjoyed studying history, different cultures and customs, as well as a good action adventure. Lee had a deep love for his family. He will be dearly missed by family and friends alike.
