Greg Lipford

Millard Gregory “Greg” Lipford, 64, of Marianna, Florida passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025.

Greg was born March 29, 1961 to Millard and Marjorie Elizabeth Lipford. A life-long resident of Marianna, Greg loved spending time hunting deer, dove, turkey and ducks, depending on the season. He cherished spending time with his loving family and beloved dog, Brown. His passions also included watching the Florida Gators play and bushhogging on the tractor. When Greg entered a room, everyone knew he had arrived. It was guaranteed he would make you laugh and was always there when you needed a hand.

Greg was preceded in death by his father, Millard and mother-in-law, Annelle McDaniel.

Greg is survived by his wife of 35 years, Jean J. Lipford of Marianna; daughter, Whitney Jones and husband, Chris of Marianna; sons, Zachary Lipford and wife, Amy of Marianna, Tyler Lipford and wife, Mari of Marianna, Ryley Lipford and wife, Cason of Milton, FL; four grandchildren, Hunter Cornelius and wife, Elizabeth, Ethan Lipford, Jackson Lipford and Maddox Jones; sisters, Donna Tyre of Wiggins, MS, Kay Morris and husband, Red of Oakfield, GA; father- in-law, John Bryan and wife, Sherry of Graham, TX; father-in-law, Kenny McDaniel of Marianna; brother-in- law, John “Bubba” Bryan and wife, Missy of Marianna, Patrick “PeeWee” Bryan of Marianna, Shawn Bryan and wife, Erika of Graham, TX; sister-in-law, Lori Barwick and husband, Jason of Marianna; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be at 11 A.M., Monday, May 12, 2025, at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Reverends John Hagan and Gino Mayo officiating. Burial will follow in Hasty Pond Baptist Church Cemetery with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing.

Those serving as pallbearers will be Whitney Jones, Zack Lipford, Tyler Lipford, Ryley Lipford, John "Bubba" Bryan, Patrick "PeeWee" Bryan and Ethan Lipford.

The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. until the time of service.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Lambe family at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
