Gordon Louderback Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gordon Michael Louderback, age 68, of Chipley, FL. Gordon passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at Marianna Health & Rehabilitation Center. He spent his final days surrounded by family and those who loved him dearly.

Gordon was born on July 27, 1956 in Aberdeen, Maryland to the late Emilie and Daniel Louderback. He spent his early years between Maryland, Virginia, and his mother’s home country of Germany. As a young adult, Gordon attended Virginia Tech University to pursue a degree in Landscape Architecture. After several years, Gordon moved to Tallahassee, Florida where he made a change in his career path to working in the auto body repair field. Gordon found a passion for this line of work, and later in 1995, opened Seminole Collision in Bonifay, Florida.

Gordon was a passionate supporter of the Florida State Seminoles football team for many years, always wearing his favorite FSU hat and rarely missing a game. His love for the Seminoles was a steady part of his life, and following the team each season brought him much enjoyment.

Gordon enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life, but the ones that meant the most to him were fishing, camping with his family, collecting and restoring antique cars, playing golf, listening to his favorite 70’s rock music and watching football. His love for the outdoors and passion for landscaping was obvious to anyone who noticed the meticulous care he took of his yard and home.

Gordon is survived by his wife, Jo Anna Louderback of Fort Walton Beach, FL; daughter, Aleya Holmes and husband, Kyle of Grand Ridge, FL; sons, Brennan Louderback and wife, Grace of Fountain, FL, Michael Williamson and wife, Courtney of Sarasota, FL; sister, Vicky Camp and husband, Ken of Ashville, NC; father in-law, John Russell of Cairo, GA as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A private memorial service will be at a later date. The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional compassionate care provided by Marianna Health & Rehabilitation and Emerald Coast Hospice during his final days.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Lambe Family at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
