George Paul Klein III

George P. Klein, III, age 78, a longtime resident of New Egypt, NJ passed away, surrounded by his loving family on August 19, 2025 in Cottondale, FL. He was born on March 5, 1947 to George P. Klein, Jr. and Ethel (Bailey) Klein.

He was predeceased by his sister, Linda Vorhees and his nephew, Mark Vorhees. George was also predeceased, one year to the day, by his son, Wil Klein.

He is survived by his wife, Tina Marie Montufar; sons, George P. Klein, IV, and Tim Klein; his daughter, Suky Klein and eight grandchildren.   

He enjoyed a lifetime filled with pets of all kinds and he never met an animal he did not love. George was a proud Vietnam Veteran and served in the Army National Guard for several decades. After finishing his service in the army, George went to work for the State of New Jersey. He worked for the Treasury Department at the motor pool in Trenton, until his retirement. After retirement from the state, he worked at the Church of the Assumption for 17 years as the maintenance supervisor. George was a beloved husband, devoted father and grandfather, and he will be greatly missed. 

A visitation will be Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 10:00am to 11:30am at Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533. A memorial service will begin at 11:30 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
