Gary Knight

Gary Lee Knight, age 76, of Grand Ridge, Florida passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at his residence with his loving family by his side. 

Gary was born to Jack and Betty Knight in New Lexington, Ohio on September 19, 1947. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1969 and served in the Vietnam War and then became a recruitment office for eleven years. After retiring from the military, he drove trucks delivering cargo for seventeen years. Gary enjoyed spending time with his family and loved watching Nascar.

He is preceded in death by his father; brother, Teddy Knight; sister, Nancy Knight; and son, Ryan Knight.

Gary is survived by his loving wife, Cecilia Knight; mother, Betty Knight; sons, Jason Knight, Gary Knight; daughter, Michelle Lynn. Gary is also survived by his brother, Jack, Danny, Jimmy; and sisters, Judy, Bonnie, Cherry, and Patty.

A private family service will be held at a later date with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
