Gary C. Jones

Gary C. Jones age 65 of Silverlake passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Syracuse, New York on December 11, 1953. Gary had been a resident of the area since 1984 and was of the Christian Science faith. He worked thirty-five years as a ship Captain where he traveled all over the world. Gary enjoyed gardening, camping, and most of all, spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Jones; mother, Janice Gettman; step mother, Barbara Jones; wife, Linda Faye Jones and one brother, Reese Jones.

Gary is survived by his sons, Johnny L. Bachelier (Stephanie) of Cypress, Gilbert A. Bachelier (Christine) of Chattahoochee; daughters, Tina M. Paulk (Frankie) of Marianna, and Raymona (Gerald) of Silverlake; brother, Shawn Gettman of Panama City and cousin Genie Bopp of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and his beloved dog Goliath.

 Memorialization will be by cremation.
