Frank W. Tilton

Frank William Tilton, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2023 at the home of his brother and sister-in-law in Marianna, Florida, where he had resided for the past two years.                       

Frank was born on September 20, 1942 to his parents, the late Fredric and Gladys (Satter) Tilton. He graduated from Nashville High School and went on to attend Indiana University in Bloomington. At the age of 10 he started raising Christmas trees and was engaged in farming for most of his life.

Frank is survived by his siblings, Thomas (Amalia) Tilton & Janice (Dennis) Foster; as well as, his nieces and nephews, James (Joy) Tilton, Andrew Tilton, Luke (Jenny) Tilton, Ruth (Nathan) Pease, Christina (Will) Montague, Angela Bixler, Michael (Lisa) Foster, Rachel (Mike) Teodoro, and Benjamin Foster.

A Celebration of Frank’s Life was held on Sunday, March 26th at 2 p.m. at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home in Morgantown, IN. 

Marianna Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements. No public services will be held at this time.
