Frances A. Roesler

Frances A. Roesler, age 84, of Marianna, FL, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2022 at Jackson Hospital.

Frances was born in Dunkirk, NY on October 25, 1937 to the late George and Mary Catalano. Frances met and married her late husband Robert Roesler in 1957. They started their family in Dunkirk where they had six children. The family later moved to Florida where they had been enjoying many family vacations. They settled in Marianna in 1974. Frances was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church from the time she moved to Marianna. Her life's passions were taking care of children, baking, and spending time with her family. 

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and George Catalono; husband, Robert Roesler; son, Robert Roesler, Jr.; and granddaughter, Allison Roesler. 

Frances was the last surviving child of George and Mary’s ten children. She is survived by her sons, Michael Roesler and wife, Carole of Dothan, AL, Richard Roesler and wife, Kathy of Tallahassee, FL, daughters, Toni Padgett and husband, Mike of Marianna, FL, Mary Henson and husband, Barry of Port St. Joe, FL, Sandra Cole and husband, Marshall of Augusta, GA, grandchildren, Jenifer Deweese, Tyler Roesler, Tara Meyer, Adam Padgett, Sheridan Padgett, Lydia Panabaker, Andrew Johnson, Ross Johnson, Josh Cole, Jessica James, Jordan Shealy, Jamilyn Yeck, and Jeromy Cole; as well as eight great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

A funeral mass will be 10 A.M. Monday, April 25, 2022 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church with Father Phil Fortin officiating.   Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing. 

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at St. Anne’s Catholic Church.
