Esther Tharp Obituary

Esther F. Tharp age 78 of Marianna, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at Gulf Coast Hospital in Panama City, Fl. Esther was born on October 30, 1941 in Jackson County to the late James Huey and Lena Ann Franklin. She had many hobbies such as quilting, sewing, and crocheting. Esther also enjoyed attending church at Sneads Assembly of God, fishing, gardening, but most of all she loved going out to eat and shopping with her sister Sally.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bobby L. Tharp, two sisters Vera Lou Franklin and Vernice Ann Owens, two brothers James Earl Franklin and Bill Franklin.

Esther is survived by one son Russell Edenfield, one brother Russell Franklin, two sisters Sally Branch, and Juanita Kelley.

In consideration of community health and public safety due to the COVID 19 Virus, a private family graveside service will be held on Sunday in Cypress Cemetery with Rev. Juno Douglas officiating.
