Ernestine O. Glass

Ernestine Glass, age 66, of Greenwood, FL passed away on September 2, 2021 at Capital Regional Medical Center in Tallahassee. She was born April 12, 1955 to the late Earnest and Rebecca Owens.
 
Ernestine loved life, her family, and her relationship with the Lord. She loved creating beautiful flower arrangements, riding four wheelers, fishing, camping, spending time with her grandchildren, and especially enjoyed taking care of people. Ernestine worked as a caretaker at the Florida State Hospital for many years and appreciated her time off since retiring.
 
Ernestine was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest Owens and Rebecca Pitts Owens and her brother, David Owens.
 
Ernestine is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Mitch Glass; children, Garland Lee, Erica Michelle Dykes, Misty Nacole Dykes, and Monique Glass, all of Marianna, FL; sister, Linda Lindsey of Marianna, FL; and many grandchildren,  William Michael Lee, Kazia Gainer, Zailey, and Kylan Wright, Kenyan Williams, Kaliyah and Kamryn Robinson; and her great grandchild, Winter Lee.
 
A Graveside Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Northside Baptist Church in Dellwood, FL with Reverend James Barwick officiating.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 pm at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
