Eddie Morales

Eddie Morales, age 61, of Marianna, FL, passed away while surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at his residence.

Eddie was born October 15, 1962 to Ramona Morales and Robert C. Gomez. Eddie loved God, family, fishing and his country. He was retired military, a Gulf War Veteran and also retired from FAA. He fought a long, courageous battle with cancer passing away at home with his loving wife, Debbie, holding his hand, palm to palm until the very end. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. His family rejoices in knowing he is now one of God’s angels leading us on to a victorious life of everlasting love. 

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents. 

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Morales; daughters, Angie Morales (Kelsey), Jeanette West (Allen), and Erika Carroll (Dustin); step sons, Ryan Anderson (Joley), Preston Powell (Hayden), Jon Powell (Chasen); brothers, Danny Morales (Delfina), Bobby Morales, and Sy Morales; grandchildren, Jacob Ludwig, Iscca West, Lawson Anderson, Cassie Anderson, Murphie Anderson, Griffin Powell and Collins Powell. 

A private gathering will be held on July 4, 2024 to celebrate his life and love for fireworks. Marianna Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
