Doris Bryant Obituary

Ms. Doris Bryant, age 79, of Sneads, FL, passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Jackson Hospital.

Doris was born February 5, 1942 to the late Jesse and Annie Mae Carver Smith. Doris was a nurse for the Florida State Hospital where she spent most of her career. She was a true Christian lady and loved the Lord dearly. In her free time, she enjoyed taking care of her animals.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Buck Bryant; son, Billy Ray Aplin; brothers, Jim, Billy, and Jerry Smith; sisters, Midge Smith, Jessie Douthit, Janice Smith, and Betty Turpin.

Doris is survived by her sister, Ruth Morrison of Jacksonville, FL; and a host of nieces and nephews.

No public services are planned at this time. Interment will be private in Pope Cemetery with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing.
